JAMB 2017 UPDATE: How to Create a Personal Profile for the Registration

This post is directed to all aspirants of this year's (2017) JAMB registration. It is very important as well as mandatory that every candidate who wants to register for the exam to create a profile on the exam body's portal. I am going to take you through a step by step process of creating one for yourself. Just click on the read more button below:

Please know that JAMB is not going to charge you for this service. its completely FREE OF CHARGE. You can create one with your smart devices or Personal Computers. All browsers can easily access the portal except for opera mini that tends to be heady at times.

ALSO note that, if you already have a profile with the exam body, you are not expected to create a new one. Some of you would have created one when you tried printing your result or accessing other services on the portal.

CREATING A NEW PROFILE:

Requirements

1. A valid email address. I would advice you open a new email account to avoid stories that touch. You can use your names instead of nick names. For example, if your name is Amadi Owen, I would advice you create your email like this: amadi.owen@yahoo.com OR owen.amadi@gmail.com. It is important that you use things like this because you might need these email accounts later in life as your official email or for other purposes.

2. Internet enabled device: This include your smartphones, tablets, slates, PCs etc.

3. A notebook or jotter: You might need to jot down something as a remembrance or note a password or JAMB access code etc.

 STEP 1

You will have to validate your email address with JAMB. To do this, please click this link and fill the form that appears. JAMB e-mail verification 

STEP 2

After filling the form, please ensure that all the details entered are correct, click Verify E-mail.

STEP 3

A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you from "noreply@JAMB.gov.ng". Open the mail and click on the link that says "click here to continue your profile creation". If you cannot find it in your inbox, do not panic, check your JUNK or SPAM box. You can move it to your inbox and open it there. 

STEP 4
A unique code will be sent to your email, ensure that you do not delete that mail. You might be asked to produce that code at the point of registration.

STEP 5
NOTE THIS: Every information entered here will reflect in your form, so it is advisable to enter details that are correct.

STEP 6
Proceed to fill the form correctly. PLEASE cross-check before submitting it. Enter a unique password that you can always remember. Write it down to avoid forgetting it.

STEP 7
Once you are done, click SIGN UP. LOGIN to confirm if you did the right thing.
