Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Oron ND/HND Application extended

 

This is to inform the general public that the Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Oron has extended her registration/application into ND/HND programme indefinitely. To this end, it has given candidates the opportunity to apply for the programme especially those who had issues with their JAMB data correction/Change of Institution.

The Maritime Academy of Nigeria, MAN has extended the date for her Post-UTME 2020/2021 screening application form to a later date. The form can be purchased at your comfort zone since it's online.

This invitation is open to those who made the school their first choice in the just concluded JAMB UTME 2020 conducted nationwide. All the candidates are expected to score a specified point to be able to apply for their choice courses.

All the applicants are expected to have the following, to be qualified to apply for the screening exam:

1. A minimum of 175 in the 2020/2021 JAMB UTME in: -

• Nautical Science
• Electrical/Electronic Engineering and
• Marine Engineering

2. A minimum of 160 for Maritime Transportation and Business Studies.

3. Candidate must have the correction subject combination for their choice courses.

4. Credit in Five (5) O' Level  subjects obtained in NOT more than two (2) sittings and the results should not be older than 5 years.

PHYSICAL & MENTAL FITNESS

• Candidates are expected to undergo a medical test in any Government Hospital closest to them and upload same to the portal during the application process.
• Candidates are to PRINT out Medical Examination Form (Form M). This form expected to filled and signed before uploading same to the portal.

MARITAL STATUS

Applicant MUST be single before applying for the programme and remain single throughout the duration of the programme.

AGE LIMIT

• Candidates applying for Marine Engineering, Nautical Science & Electronic/Electrical Engineering must be between the ages of 16 - 21 on or before the 20th of November 2020.
• Candidates applying for Business Studies and Maritime Transportation should be within the ages of 16 - 25 on or before the 20th  of November, 2020.
