JAMB 2017 Change of Institution and Course has begun!!!

This is to inform the general public and most especially all those who sat for the 2017 JAMB CBT that Change of Institution and Course has started.

This is the opportunity most candidates have been waiting for. Two things trigger the decision to change course or insitution. We are going to look at them after the break and then also look at how to go about the change of course and institution in full details.
What Triggers the decision to change your first choice institution or course?
From my observations and dealings with candidates, I have come to note these two reasons;
High Score in the Examination: 
Most candidates often times register for courses they think the competition is not very high so that with whatever score they have, they can always gain admission into the university. With this mentality they go for the examination and when the results finally come out and they discovered that their scores are very high they now want to change their courses and instituion to another they think is better than their previous choice.

 Low Score in the Examination:
 Unlike those that "wanted" anything initially, these group of candidates aim really high. They wanted the best of courses and institutions but when the results where eventually released they discovered that their scores weren't good enough for the courses  and institutions they initially aimed for. This results in their going for other courses and institutions.

Having said this, let us now go to the business of the day:
Change of Course and Institution has changed levels. it is no longer business as usual. Only Accredited CBT Centres are allowed to do this.

Also note that it now involves THUMBPRINTING! Thumbprinting for change of course? Yes of course!

Note these vital points:
You must be very sure of the course/institution you are changing to:
Does it match your UTME subject combination?
Does that institution offer the course you want or is their cut-off mark something you can carry? 
This is important because once the form is submitted, you can no longer make changes.

Please note that the entire process will cost you #3, 500.00; #2,500.00 for JAMB and #1k for CBT centre owners.
