Senate passes Bill prescribing 5-year jail term for randy Lecturers

This is a strong warning to lecturers who think they are untouchable. A Bill that will break open their walls of defense has just been passed. The bill is a very serious one from the way it appears but in Nigeria does it really work as it appears? Let's find out...

After six months of its introduction on the floor of the senate, a bill seeking to stop the sexual abuse or harrassment of students on the nation's tertiary institution was passed by the Red Chamber.

The Bill which the sponsor, Senator Ovie Omo tagged: "Sexual Harrassment in Tertiary Education Institution Probition Bill", prescribe a 5-year jail term for lecturers and educators convicted of sexual harrassment of their male and female students.

I now ask this question: If a lecturer sexually harrasses a student and bags a 5year jail term, what happens to student who tends to seduce or lure her/his unsuspecting leaturer or teacher to bed?
