INEC fixes Rivers State Legislative Re-Run Elections for October

Rivers State Legislative Election is becoming longer than Merlin and all its seasons. Since 2015, the election and swearing in of elected legislators has become a difficult thing for INEC and the the Federal Government.
In a meeting in Rivers State with stakeholders and party stalwarts, INEC fixes the rerun for October 2016 but no definite date.

Many who spoke during the briefing think INEC is still not ready to conduct the election as electoral offenders are still not prosecuted which shows that the same offense can still be done.
