How to check your WAEC Result without buying scratch card

This post is to all those who sat for the 2016 WASSCE and are currently checking their result. It has come to our notice that the WAEC Result Checker is currently out of circulation, making it really difficult for some candidates to check their results.


Due to the mischievousness of some School Principals, WAEC decided this time not to give them the result checker cards and embedded individual result checker into the candidate's examination ID card.

How to check it:
You are given ID cards like the one attached above, which contains your name, examination number, date of birth and sex on the left hand side of the card and it is colored yellow in the card above. 
To the right of the card, we have your passport and under your passport are two sets of numbers:
- Serial:
- Pin:
Those two sets of numbers contain your SERIAL NUMBER  and PIN NUMBER with which to check your result.

You don't need to go and buy any card anywhere to check your result anymore.

What do when you have misplaced your ID card:
- Go to your school and ask for your centre number and seat number,
- Proceed to any Cafe around and purchase a result checker card (if you don't have any around, email the ADMIN and we will tell you how to go about it).
- Give them the information you got from the school, wait for a print out and celebrate your success.

I was not given any ID card by my school:
Go to the Registration Officer/Principal of your school and ask for your ID card.
Proceed to any Cafe around and give them the card to check your result with the information on it.

NOTE:
DO NOT CARELESSLY GIVE YOUR CARD TO ANYONE AS THE PERSON MIGHT USE YOUR PIN AND SERIAL WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE. We are yet to confirm if your Registration/Examination Number is tied to your PIN & Serial Number.
